The deck overlooking the back garden offers a peaceful area of relaxation.
Attractions close to Taupo itself offer such diverse activities as bungy jumping from a cliff high above the mighty Waikato River, scenic flights, and thrilling jetboat rides below the awesome Huka Falls.  Parachute jumping is also popular.  Also there are fishing trips on the Lake, as well as the thermal attractions of 'Craters of the Moon' and Wai-o-Tapu.



Lake Taupo offers many attractions and places of interest for visitors as well as being centrally situated as a base for exploring other Central North Island areas.  A comfortable three and a half hours drive from Auckland and four and a half from Wellington it is the ideal 'halfway house' to spend a few nights during a North Island tour.

Day trips from Taupo can include places such as Rotorua, Waitomo, and Tongariro National Park.

Heading south through Taupo, continue along Lake Terrace past main shopping area, then turn left onto Rifle Range Road (Fire Station on left). Stay on Rifle Range Road and Tamatea Road is the 9th street on the right. We are number 33.
